The Rwanda Association of Professional Environmental Practitioners (RAPEP) wishes to inform the general public that the application for RAPEP membership for the practicing year 2025/2026 is now open. This notice is particularly directed to professionals who wish to apply to become members of RAPEP, existing members who intend to renew their annual membership and practicing licenses, and those seeking to upgrade their practicing categories.
All applications must be submitted exclusively through the RAPEP Membership Portal available at https://membership.rapep.org.rw. The application process is entirely online, and a non-refundable application fee is required at the time of submission. The new applicants’ fees for firms and individuals are Frw 30,000 and Frw 10,000 respectively. Please note that applications submitted after July 10th, 2025, will not be accepted.
Membership is available under two classes as indicated below:
Class A is designated for licensed practitioners, including Consulting Firms, Lead Experts, Associate Experts, and Junior Experts who are authorised to conduct environmental assessments.
Class B is intended for environmental professionals who are ordinary members of RAPEP but are not licensed to conduct any environmental assessments.

Note: Kindly be reminded that RAPEP will not accept applications sent via email or submitted in hard copy. Only applications submitted through the official online platform will be considered.
